Foxrock Youth Club – Patchathon for Charity

This year Foxrock Youth Club plan to wrap Foxrock Church in flags made from patches created by the community. ‘Patchathon 2014’ will take place over 24 hours at the Foxrock Parish Pastoral Centre on the 4th and 5th October next. This year all the money raised will go directly to two local charities, the Blackrock Hospice and Laura Lynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.

The Youth Club provides the patches and people decorate them in whatever way they choose, possibly with a memory, a cherished person, an idea, emblem, design, etc. To provide funds for the charities Foxrock Youth Club intend to charge €5 per patch and all the patches would then be put on a flag and hung around the Church that weekend.

On the weekend of 4th and 5th October itself there will be entertainment, games, BBQ, prizes, music, dancing up at Foxrock Parish Pastoral Centre and car park and all are welcome.

You will find more information on the Foxrock Youth Club website or follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
